Who is manipulating Barclays Bank share prices? ?
It was suggested in a day trader forum chat session on Friday last after the 24% drop in a single day.
Any views?
Just asking – as they look to be posting good profits against RBS losses, and it looks too good a buy (nationalisation ?) at 57pence right now.
I am holding a LOT of shares at average over 300p 
Presumably it’s short sellers, trying to do to Barclays what they did to some other banks before shorting was (temporarily) banned. I.e. make a profit out of their downfall.
Barclays seems to be in quite a sound position so the city boys might end up getting their fingers burnt. Hopefully!
