The best providers are TD Ameritrade. $9.99 trades, E Trade $15.00 trades, Schwab, $9.00 trades Scottrade 7.99 trades.

So Scott is the cheapest of the mainline traders, there are others that go down to $4.00 trades, but you can’t buy penny stocks, and you are limited as to the shares of stocks you can by for the $4.00.
