i want to play the stock market online. can you point me in the right direction?

i’m wanting to find a website that will let me broker my own money in the stock market. do you know of a website that will let me buy/sell/trade all on my own? thanks.
would you answer the question i asked? i know it’s risky. i want to PLAY the market…not make a living on it.

Penny Stocks are a bad idea at any time. A lot of brokers have online dealing facilities. Day-trading is ruinous for the small investor.

You could maybe buy into a mutual fund, one which allows you to switch into a different fund in another sector when you feel it is a good idea. That can normally be done online.
