Which broker should I use for stock trading for lowest brokerage fee?
I’ve heard of scottrade, e-trade, ameritrade. Which broker has the lowest fee? Would it be better to just use the bank of america (merrill lynch) trading account? Not looking to do day trading, more long term investments intended.
I use Sogotrade and started 1 yr ago.
It works great for my style of investing.
I’m not a day trader more longer term investing with some swing trades also.
The thinkorswim (TOS) platform is good for doing chart study and as A nobody stated looks like it would work well for options trading.
Depending on your style and needs the platform is just the way to execute the trade. Some are much better than otners.
Sogotrade has fast execution and suites my style which sounds similar to what you want.
If you do go there use my reference #https://www.sogotrade.com/Setup/Default.aspx?rf=463735
They require $500 min deposit and charge $3.00 per transaction
This was great for me as a newbie and suited my style just fine.
I’ve had fun learning and losing just not as much fun when losing.
Good Luck to you
